The Rejected Rescuer

Nov 30, 2025    Shad Baker

Isaiah 53 gives us one of the clearest pictures of Jesus as the suffering Savior. Jesus carried our griefs, bore our sorrows, and took the punishment that brought us peace.

Jesus is the only one who suffered perfectly, silently, and willingly. He is the innocent one who died so the guilty could go free. Because of His sacrifice, we can draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, knowing He understands our pain and has overcome it. Our response is active gratitude: loving Him, obeying Him, and telling others about the One who gave everything to save us.
